Policy Research

The Portman Center’s mission has an explicit emphasis on applied policy solutions. We support students in developing and pushing forward policy solutions through our annual Policy Challenge. We host public conversations with elected officials and thought leaders in the policy space, and we convene an annual policy symposium. These events set the table for researchers, policy makers, local organizations, and community stakeholders to shape achievable policy solutions.
