2026–27 Portman Center Undergraduate Fellowship

Portman Center Undergraduate Fellows build civic leadership skills, participate in small group meetings with government officials and leaders, develop tools for making an impact on public policy, and visit national, state, and local government offices.

Applicants to the Fellowship program must be full-time, degree-seeking undergraduate students at UC and should have an interest in civic leadership and bipartisanship.

Applications include short essay responses and one letter of recommendation. 

 

Application timeline

January 12: Applications open

March 23: Applications close at 11:59 p.m.

Notifications are expected by April 17, with an acceptance deadline of April 27.
