Pre-Professional Tracks

The Pre-Professional Advising Center (PPAC) advises Pre-Health and Pre-Law students who aspire to attend law school and health professions graduate programs after completing their undergraduate careers. PPAC advisors collaborate with students beginning their freshman year to explore options, build exceptional portfolios and navigate the application process. This is a critical partnership to help students prepare for future success. 

Pre-Law

Students interested in pre-law aspire to work in the legal field and are gaining an understanding of the skills and knowledge required for a legal career. They may be drawn to law by a passion for justice, critical thinking and advocacy while exploring various legal disciplines. 

Pre-Dentistry

Students interested in pre-dentistry aspire to pursue a career in the dental field and are learning the skills necessary to succeed in dentistry. The rigorous curriculum demands tenacity and stamina. Aspiring dentists might be drawn to the field by a passion for oral health, patient care and science while exploring various aspects of dental practice. 

Pre-Medicine

Students interested in pre-medicine aspire to pursue a career in healthcare and contribute to advancements in the field while improving patient outcomes. They may be drawn to pre-medicine by a desire to solve complex medical problems, make a positive impact on peoples lives and embrace the opportunity for lifelong learning within the medical profession. 

Pre-Optometry

Students interested in pre-optometry aspire to pursue a career in eye care and are acquiring the knowledge needed for the optometry field. They may be drawn to optometry by a passion for vision health and a desire to improve peoples quality of life through eye care. Optometrists are motivated to work directly with patients, diagnosing and treating eye conditions. 

Pre-Veterinary Medicine

Students interested in pre-veterinary medicine aspire to build a career in animal health, combining their love for animals with a passion for science. Aspiring veterinarians are driven to provide compassionate care, prevent the spread of diseases and treat a variety of health issues to improve the animals' quality of life.
