Digital Media
BA
Why study Digital Media?
The BA in Digital Media sits at the intersection of technology and the liberal arts — a space where creative vision and critical thinking meet the tools to bring ideas to life. The program is interdisciplinary and team-based, built around a human-centered approach to storytelling and creative practice. Students work with advanced media tools to craft meaningful narratives and graduate prepared for careers in the fast-moving, ever-evolving world of digital media.
In Digital Media courses, students learn alongside instructors who are leading experts in their fields and professionals with industry experience who remain actively engaged with creative work. Courses are collaborative by design, weaving together theory, history, and hands-on practice so students are both learning about digital media and making it.
Digital Media students gain real-world experience through internships, assistantships, summer camps, and study abroad from the moment they arrive on campus through the completion of their senior project.
