The University of Cincinnati's Department of Geography offers Ph.D. and M.A. degrees.

Faculty members in the department of geography take great pride in offering a first rate graduate education to students interested in pursuing an advanced degree in a variety of geographic topics. The department is particularly strong in Geographic Information Science, Physical and Environmental Geography, and Urban and Economic Geography.

The strength of our department is reflected by a large amount of external research funding, extensive publications of scholarly work in top-ranking academic journals, and our ability to attract top-caliber graduate students. The department has a strong record of success in graduate placement in private- and public-sector careers, including tenure-track academic positions.
