About the A&S Experience Ambassadors

The A&S Experience Ambassador Program is a vital part of the College of Arts & Sciences’ commitment to delivering exceptional, student-centered service and creating meaningful experiences for prospective and current students, families, faculty, staff, and visitors. Experience Ambassadors serve as the face of A&S and are often the first point of contact for those engaging with the college, representing UC and A&S with professionalism, accuracy, enthusiasm, and care.

As paid student employees, ambassadors play an active role in supporting a wide range of recruitment, enrollment, advising, and engagement initiatives. Responsibilities may include assisting with front-desk operations, welcoming guests to campus, supporting admissions and advising events, staffing information sessions and campus visit programs, assisting with Open Houses and Admitted Bearcat Days, helping with student panels and tours, supporting communications and outreach efforts, and serving at special college and university events throughout the academic year.

Through structured training, hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development opportunities, ambassadors build transferable skills in communication, leadership, customer service, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management. The program is designed to help students grow as confident leaders while making a lasting impact on the A&S student experience and the future of the college community.
