Sofia Ferrigolo is in her final semester at the Lindner College of Business, where she took charge as a sustainability advocate, culminating in a trip to COP30 in November and a job offer for sustainability consulting at a major global firm.

The countdown for Sustainability@UC Week has begun. From January 26 until January 31, 2026, The University of Cincinnati (UC) will welcome the Greater Cincinnati community to participate in various activities as part of Sustainability@UC Week. Organized by the UC Office of Sustainability, the School of Environment and Sustainability (SEaS), Student Government and the Center for Public Engagement with Science (PEWS), Sustainability@UC Week will showcase 21 different events relating to sustainability.

The University of Cincinnati offers once-in-a-lifetime opportunities for hands-on learning. Students in two UC study abroad programs last spring traveled with their professors to see the real-world application of what they learned in two very different areas of innovation—conservation and sustainability, and cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
