When a new employee in A&S is hired, we would like existing A&S Staff members to welcome the new person into our community. As an A&S Buddy, you can offer guidance and share experiences to support our newest colleagues in their new role and responsibilities. We can be available to answer questions related to our students, our College, and our University, and you can introduce them to colleagues and assist with building effective and productive networks within the University. Additional goals of the A&S Buddy program are to provide clarification of policies, procedures, and protocol and assist with access to training on key processes.
Would you like to volunteer to be an A&S Buddy? If so, please email Kelly Schiller, email@example.com, for more information. We will connect you with the new A&S Staff member so you can arrange coffee, lunch, or something else that will fit your schedules. THANK YOU!
At the beginning of each academic year, the A&S Staff Board hosts a staff retreat where A&S staff come together to network and discuss topics such as professional development, job efficiency, and shared challenges and proposed solutions.
