Political Science

Minor Details

The Political Science curriculum is designed to equip students with basic and advanced information about political life in this country and abroad; conceptual, communication and methodological skills; normative and analytic theories with which to study contemporary and emerging public issues; and an awareness of how political science relates to the other social sciences and the humanities.

Political Science provides numerous opportunities for students to extend their learning beyond the classroom, including through study abroad and participation in extracurricular activities such as the Mock Trial and Model United Nations teams and the distinctive model APEC simulation. Minors also join groups such as the Political Science Association.
