Majors must also satisfy all A&S and UC requirements for minimum total of 120 semester hours. The philosophy major is 36 semester hours.
A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to graduate. All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or better.
Philosophy Major (BA)
- Choose TWO Introduction to Philosophy Courses (PHIL 1000 - PHIL 1004)
- Complete ONE Symbolic Logic Course (PHIL 2010)
- Choose TWO Philosophy electives
- Choose SIX upper division courses (PHIL 3000 and higher, excluding
PHIL 5099) - Complete the Philosophy Capstone (PHIL 5099)
Philosophy Major (BA) - Law and Ethics Track
- Choose TWO Introduction to Philosophy Courses (PHIL 1000 - PHIL 1004)
- Complete ONE Symbolic Logic Course (PHIL 2010)
- Choose TWO Philosophy electives
- Complete the following THREE courses (PHIL 3005, PHIL 3020, and PHIL 3021)
- Choose THREE additional upper division courses (PHIL 3000 and higher, excluding PHIL 5099)
- Complete the Philosophy Capstone (PHIL 5099)
Philosophy Major (BA) - Biohumanities Track
- Choose TWO Introduction to Philosophy Courses (PHIL 1000 - PHIL 1004)
- Complete ONE Symbolic Logic Course (PHIL 2010)
- Choose TWO Philosophy electives
- Complete the following THREE courses (PHIL 3020, PHIL 3028, and PHIL 3041)
- Choose THREE additional upper division courses (PHIL 3000 and higher, excluding PHIL 5099)

Philosophy Minor
