45th Annual Philosophy Colloquium: Eye, Mind, and Art: Cognitive Science and the Philosophy of the Visual Arts
The goal of the conference is to introduce philosophers to ways in which the arts can help advance theories of perception and emotion, and to introduce theorists and practitioners of the arts to philosophical work in perception and emotion theory that can shed light on artistic strategies employed in painting, photography, and film.
