Summer Quarter Hours: June 22 - August 28

       Monday:       9am - 12pm

       Tuesday:      10am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm

       Wednesday: 12pm - 3pm

       Thursday:     11am - 2pm

       Friday:          2pm - 5pm

The Writing Center is open on a limited basis during week two and exam week, and closed on weekends, university holidays, and between terms. Please call for appointments.

About the Writing Center

Our primary function is to consult with those who come to the Center to become more competent and self-confident writers by helping them improve their writing skills. We do not provide editing or proofreading services, though we will be happy to address mechanical and grammatical questions within a tutoring session. Our tutoring staff is drawn from a pool of UC writing instructors familiar with college-level writing problems and ways to solve them. Our reception staff is drawn from students in the work/study program. We are charter members of the Ohio Writing Center Consortium.
