Current students receive monthly undergraduate advising e-Newsletters, the college e-Newsletter (called the McMicken Monthly) as well as occasional important announcements via their Bearcat Online (BOL) e-Mail accounts.

BOL accounts are also used for official university communications to students, such as:

• Financial aid requirements and awards
• Advising information
• Billing notices and due dates
• Emergency (e.g., snow closing) notices
• Information about programs, activities, sporting events and more
