House Valentine House is a French- and Spanish-language immersion residence offering undergraduate students at
The 22 undergraduate students living in Valentine House (11 in French, 11 in Spanish) speak their target language on a daily basis, both in normal conversations and at events hosted by the community. Each residential floor benefits from the expertise of a graduate Resident Advisor who is a fluent speaker of French or Spanish and lives with the students. A graduate Community Advisor fluent in French or Spanish manages the academic, cultural, and business affairs of the House under the supervision of the Department of Romance Languages and the Valentine House Board of Directors. Valentine House features a library, a seminar room, a lounge, an outdoor terrace, a film screening room, and a professional kitchen. Cultural events linking Valentine House with the community take place throughout the year. To learn how you can apply to be an undergraduate resident of Valentine house, click here.
