Basic Portuguese Courses

The College of Arts & Sciences requires students to complete either a 15-credit sequence (one year), or an 18-credit sequence (two years). Students who have studied Portuguese in secondary school or who have lived in Portugal or Brazil should consult with the RLL Department to determine the appropriate placement.

The department of Romance Languages offers Basic Portuguese 101-102-103: 5 credits each.
