Cincinnati Conference and Cincinnati Romance Review

The Cincinnati Conference is an annual conference that takes place in Cincinnati in early May and includes presentations on all aspects of the Romance languages and literatures. It was founded in 1980-81 by graduate students Frank Triplett and Eric Pennington as one of the first graduate student conferences in the US.

The Review was founded the year after the Conference began. Félix Manchacatorre and Eric Pennington were the managing editors, John Wilhite the supervising editor, and Donald W. Bleznick the executive editor. Since 2008, the Cincinnati Romance Review has been published in electronic form.
