Hello and welcome to the Center for Organizational Leadership!
The Center was established in the academic year 2002-2003 within the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences. It is a newly developed and evolving academic center which brings together diverse disciplines involved in the study of organizational leadership.
Mission
The Center enables students to learn leadership competencies effectively, produces high-quality scholarship, and partners with local, for-profit, non-profit, and global communities in order to enhance leadership practices. A special focus of the Center is on leadership in human resource management. The Center recognizes the value of embracing different disciplinary approaches, capitalizing on individual strengths, integrating theory and practice, and applying disciplinary knowledge to leadership issues. Further, the Center’s programs are aligned to and support the University of Cincinnati’s UC|21 Mission Statement.
Currently, the Center offers a: - Baccalaureate degree program (Bachelor of Arts) with a major in Organizational Leadership, otherwise known as the ORGL program.
- Master of Arts in Human Resources, otherwise known as the MHR program.
