The United States and the World.The History Department at the University of Cincinnati seeks a twentieth-century international historian with expertise in the relationship between the United States and the larger world for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor beginning September 2008. The successful candidate will teach a regular load of two courses per quarter ranging from introductory survey through graduate (MA/PhD) seminars. Ability to teach courses in the history of terrorism will be viewed favorably. Evidence of potential for excellence in research and teaching expected, and Ph.D. required by time of appointment.
