The purpose of the UC German Club is to bring students with a common interest in German language and culture together in a social atmosphere on and off campus.  We hold functions throughout the year to provide students with the opportunity to become involved with the German department and promote the use of the German Language outside of the classroom. We host regular study groups before midterms and finals each quarter that allow students of all levels to help one another prepare for exams. We hold social functions on campus, such as our German movie series, and club soccer game. German Club members also meet as a group off campus to go hiking (wandern gehen) or meet at some of the many German-cultural events in Cincinnati (Oktoberfest, Christkindlmarkt, Schuetzenfest, etc.). Membership is open to all UC students. For more information, you can find us on Blackboard under the "Community" tab, or you can contact us through our faculty advisor, Dr. Todd Herzog. All are welcome!
