The Max Kade German Cultural Center
The Max Kade German Cultural Center is housed within the Old Chemistry building on the 7th floor, directly across from the offices of the Department of German Studies. It is a European-style atrium where students
can meet and study, and where lectures and other departmental events take place. A cable connection wired into the Center brings in televisions programs from various European countries, making it possible for students to relax there as well as to learn from German and other language
programs. The Max Kade Cultural Center provides University of Cincinnati students with a unique environment in which to exchange ideas and to immerse themselves in European literatures, languages, and cultures.
