As part of a continuing tradition, the graduate students of the Department of German Studies invited area high school teachers to bring their German classes to UC for a day of competitions in areas ranging from baked goods to posters, and from poetry recitations to cultural knowledge. Approximately 325 high school students came to campus to participate. They were worthy competitors---we hope to see them in our German classes in a year or two. The high school teachers and UC's German Studies' faculty enjoyed meeting or renewing acquaintances over a continental breakfast.

See what Oak Hills High School had to say about the day. ....................Back to Outreach
