Overview
of Economics Major
The
Department offers two majors: a major in Economics and
a major in Business Economics. The Economics major emphasizes
traditional economics areas and is similar to Economics
majors offered in most colleges and universities throughout
the country. It is more suited for students who would
like to work for various government organizations, advance
to graduate / law schools, or for students who are not
yet sure which career paths they would like to pursue
in future (for example, business or government or law
or academics).
