Our department consists of a small but professionally active faculty, who has a wide range of research interests and who often pursue joint research. The strongest areas in the department lie in applied econometrics and applied microeconomics. Areas of application include international trade, industrial organization, environmental economics, urban development, transportation, and labor economics. The department also has a small but crucial group of macroeconomists.
