Media Degree Pathways and Careers

The Digital Media Collaborative’s interdisciplinary approach to education means that you will not only have the opportunity to gain depth in your specific area of interest, but you will also gain an understanding of the entire creative process, from ideation to production to distribution.

The faculty within the DMC have highlighted a variety of different paths towards specific digital media careers (some of which are included here in the following pages), but you also have the opportunity to work with your advisor to create your own program path.

The Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies – Digital Media Track

In 2016, the DMC launched the BIS-DMC degree to provide students with a completely customizable and cross-college media program. Students will be introduced to digital storytelling across multiple media platforms, will take courses in film and media history and theory, and will then choose at least one focus area in which to delve deeper.
