Digital Media Collaborative
What is the Digital Media Collaborative? It’s an exciting new program at UC that takes talented faculty from all over the university (and experts from across the nation) to provide you with the education, experiential learning, and skills you need for a variety of different careers in digital media. While our faculty are new to UC, they aren’t new to the digital content scene! Oh, and check back regularly, because our program is growing by leaps and bounds every semester!
Digital Media Cluster Hires Bring Filmmaking, Program-Building Expertise to UC
Matt Irvine, who helped found DePaul's top national film school, and screenwriting expert Kristyn Benedyck join UC to launch the Digital Media Collaborative, a collective effort between CCM, DAAP, McMicken and UC Libraries.
The DMC began with seed funding from former President Santa Ono’s Transformation Fund matched by CCM, DAAP and A&S, and was successfully launched as part of then Provost (now Interim President) Davenport’s Cluster Hiring initiative.
