Nominate an English Teacher

The deadline for all nominations is Friday, March 18, 2017.

Nominate a teacher you have or had for an English class by telling us

  • why your experience with that instructor was positive.
  • what you gained from that person’s class(es).
  • why that person should be recognized for his or her teaching.what made
  • your experience with this teacher unique.

The more detail you can provide, the more compelling your case! Please do not submit a teacher¹s name without any supporting details.

How to to Submit

  • Option 1: Submit Your Nomination Via Email
    • All email nominations should be submitted to english.artsci@uc.edu with the subject line "Boyce Award Nomination".
    • Be sure to include all required nomination information either in the body of the email or as a document attachment:
    1. Your Name
    2. Your Email Address
    3. Teacher's Name
    4. Nomination Details
  • Option 2: Submit Your Nomination Via the Online Nomination Form
    • Compose your nomination in the form below (it's a good idea to start in a word processing program, then copy and paste).
    • Once you’ve entered your nomination material in the form, be sure  to click “submit” to send your nomination to the Boyce Awards Committee.
    • Please note that your nomination will not appear on this site.
