Jennifer L. Koster is a doctoral student in rhetoric and composition with interests in Appalachia and Appalachian pedagogical methods, basic writing instruction, and online student experiences.
Jennifer is an Assistant Professor of English at Cincinnati Christian University. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in Public Administration/Political Science and a Master's of English with a Certificate in Rhetoric & Composition from Northern Kentucky University. In addition to teaching English 1001/101 and 102, she has taught Literature, Appalachian Studies, Appalachian Literature, Introduction to Film, Technical & Scientific Writing, and First Year Experience.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is also actively involved with the Light the Night Lymphoma and Leukemia Society and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Jen has a memoir entitled “Goodbye Silver Fox” published with Bethlehem Writers Roundtable and a creative nonfiction piece called “Like I Always Do” with Intrinsick Magazine along with several book reviews.
