Eric Winegardner Joins Search Wizards as President

UC Public Relations Program Certified by PRSA

The University of Cincinnati’s PR Certificate Program was recently re-certified by the Public Relations Society of America – the world’s largest and foremost organization of public relations professionals. The program is one of only 30 across the country certified by PRSA.

“That is an important affirmation of the program’s quality and professional relevance," says Suzanne Boys, associate educator professor and director of the program. “Certification also is an important mark of credibility for students entering the job market.”



UCommunicate Open for Business

The University of Cincinnati’s Department of Communication recently launched a new research unit called

 UCommunicate in partnership with the University of Cincinnati Research Institute (UCRI). 

UCRI is a university-wide research institute designed to connect UC faculty, staff, alumni and students with industry partners.

Tiffany Peterson Communication Alumna

Young, Gifted and Black: Communication Alumna an Inspiring Leader

Tiffany Peterson is a born leader. This communication graduate is leaving the University of Cincinnati with a resume packed with honors and leadership roles that illustrate her ability to inspire everyone around her. 

Peterson transferred to the McMicken College of Arts & Sciences for the last year of her UC career. It’s where she embraced her passion for communication and had the confidence to take the stage at UC’s 2016 Tyehimba, the black student graduation ceremony, where she delivered a rousing speech that revolved around a central question. 


Finding a Home and Transforming Lives in Communication

I use a lot of words to describe myself. I am a wife, a life-long Cincinnatian, a hard-worker at a local non-profit, Bengals fan – the list could go on and on. Another way that I describe myself isas a double graduate from the Communication Department at the University of Cincinnati. Not only did I receive two degrees from UC, I am also a faculty member as an Adjunct Instructor.  Because of my ongoing involvement with UC, it wasn’t really a question when I was asked to join the Friends of Communication board.
