Certificates for Non-Matriculated Students
Students can take classes or purse an area of study without pursuing a degree program. Such students have a status of "non-matriculated," which means they are not enrolled in a degree program.
All McMicken Certificate programs are listed on the Academic Programs page and are indicated by "Cert" in the Undergraduate or Graduate Program columns.
Students are welcome to contact program directors with questions, however, they work with staff in the Transfer and Lifelong Learning Center to register for classes. The TLLC Web site has other valuable information for non-matriculated students, such as how to obtain an e-mail account, UC ID and parking pass.
