English Internship

Internship Program

Looking for work experience now to better prepare you for your future career or to expand your career options? You may want to consider an academic internship.

UC’s new Academic Internship Program has resources to help English students prepare for and get placed into internships. The program involves a three-credit face-to-face course (Exploring Academic Internships) for one quarter followed by a three-credit internship and online course in a second quarter. These six credits can’t count towards the major in English but could serve as University electives. More importantly, it’s an opportunity to enhance your resume with some experiential learning opportunities.

You can get started simply by registering for the first course in the sequence, Exploring Academic Internships (36PD280). Find out the available sections in the online course catalog under college 36, Division of Professional Practice.
