CommCeleb

The eleventh annual CommCeleb was held on Wednesday May 20, 2009. This end-of-year party brings together students, faculty, alumni, intern supervisors and business leaders to celebrate the communication major in an open-house atmosphere filled with pride.

Over 100 student intern posters & a PowerPoint presentation showcase the variety of skills and experiences held this year. Scholarships and awards were presented in a brief ceremony.

This year, the Department of communication recognized the following achievements during the event.

Faculty Achievements:

Dr. Gail Fairhurst, Fulbright Seniors Scholarship Award to the University of Lund, Sweden, April, 2009.

Dr. Trent_17735958_240X180.jpg Dr. Judith S. Trent awarded both the Centennial Scholar, Political Communication and Distinguished Research Fellow at the 100th Annual Convention of the Eastern Communication Association in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
