Professional Summary

Dr. Nancy A. Jennings is an Assistant Professor of Communication at the University of Cincinnati, Department of Communication. She received her PhD in Radio-Television-Film from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000, and her M.B.A. in Marketing from DePaul University in 1996. Her research examines the intersection between new and old media by studying the websites that children see on television and examining children’s relationships with media characters both on and offline. Furthermore, she has developed an online course for the introduction to mass communication and employed podcasting and other uses of technology such as Second Life as an innovative way to reach students with varying learning approaches. She received her PhD in Radio-Television Film from the University of Texas at Austin, and her M.B.A. in Marketing from DePaul University.
