Any dollars used for summer UGSs (010U) will be added to this allocation
amount, if needed.
All
UGSs must be awarded in accordance with the McMicken College of
Arts and Sciences,Maximum Allowable Aid - University Graduate Scholarships,
Summer 2000-01 and Autumn,Winter and Spring 2001-02 (Attachment
III).
All
students with stipends must have a full UGS with General Fee.
All
students receiving a UGS (full or partial) must register for a minimum
of 12 graduate credit hours (audit hours and undergraduate credits
do not count).
Those
students who are awarded a UGS and who fail to register for 12 credit
hours, will automatically be assessed tuition charges. No charges
will be placed against the UGS budget.
If
a full-time student's current quarter registration will place him
or her above 259 graduate credit hours, the student cannot receive
an award. A student who received a masters degree from another university
reaches the credit hour limit at 209 graduate credits and becomes
ineligible for a UGS above 209 graduate credits. (see UC, Division
of Research and Advanced Studies, "Graduate Awards Manual").
UGSs
must be processed electronically through the E-160 screens in UniverSIS.
PAFs must be processed through the Office of Research and Advanced
Studies (ML 0627).
