Mission Statement
The purpose of the UCSJA is to provide a platform for the presentation of scholarly works by the Anthropology Students of the University of Cincinnati. This journal is also meant to be a venue for learning the proper procedure of article submission to a scholarly journals.
Editor- In- Chief : Elizabeth Wehri
Liz is an Anthropology Masters Student specializing in Physical Anthropology. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University with a major in Anthropology and minors in History and Sociology. Her current research is on the severity of Osteomyelitis in Civil War Soldier Amputees.

Associate Editor: Nicholas Hawes
Nick is a Masters student in the department of Anthropology. His main focus is in medical anthropology.
Associate Editor: Erin Gill
Erin is an Anthropology Masters Student specializing in Archaeology. She received her undergraduate degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a major in Anthropology. Her current area of research is in Belize, in order to work with Mayan Archaeology.
Member of the Editorial Board: Jessica K Juarez
Jessica is an anthropology Masters student specializing in physical anthropology. She did her undergraduate work at Baylor University and majored in Forensic Science with a background in biology and chemistry. Her current area of research involves fracture patterns of blunt force trauma to the cranium.

Emily is a Masters student in anthropology, focusing on linguistics and medical anthropology. She received her undergraduate degree from Kenyon.
