Writing Center

Summer Quarter Hours: June 23 - August 29

Monday	9am - 1pm
Tuesday	3pm - 7pm
Wednesday	1pm - 5pm
Thursday	9am - 1pm
Friday	10am - Noon

  

The Center is generally open week two and exam week on a limited basis. We are closed on weekends, university holidays, and between terms. Please call 556-1347 (temporary Summer quarter number) for hours and appointments.

About Us

Our primary function is to consult with those who come to the Center to become more competent and self-confident writers by helping them improve their writing skills. We do not provide editing or proofreading services, though we will be happy to address mechanical and grammatical questions within a tutoring session. We are charter members of the Ohio Writing Center Consortium.

We are temprorarily located on the third floor of McMicken Hall in room 350B.

About Our Staff

Our tutoring staff is drawn from a pool of UC writing instructors familiar with college-level writing problems and ways to solve them. Our reception staff is drawn from students in the work/study program.
